Head Chef: Giacomo Tasca

Originally from Rome, Italy, Giacomo brings a lot of knowledge, passion, and experience to TOZI. With a strong 20 year fine-dining background in luxury hotels and restaurants, his love for cooking has taken him from Rome to Bermuda, London, Paris and finally Amsterdam where he has been for 4 years. With a constant desire to elevate his cuisine, his passion lies within the simplicity and finesse of using just a few quality ingredients to create an emotional culinary journey for each dish.

WHAT DOES HE LOVE ABOUT TOZI MOST?

What Giacomo loves most about TOZI is its warm, cozy atmosphere, which makes you feel like you’re in someone’s home. He appreciates the authenticity of the kitchen, a rarity to find nowadays. Giacomo also values the idea of sharing and believes it’s how food is meant to be enjoyed. Lastly, he enjoys the closeness and fun within the team, which guests can sense through the open kitchen, making the experience even more memorable.
